The Honda sits longer than the soul does and it has never said anything about updating.Have had Sirius in both our Prius and Sienna van for years. For about a minute after that it continued saying "updating channels" but DIDN'T switch away from satellite like it had been. For about a minute after that it continued saying "updating channels" but DIDN'T switch away from satellite like it had been. They told me it was a problem with the radion and not their problem. Too many of us with this problem for it to be the radio. It must be Sirius but call them and they have no clue. The dealer installed new Sirius receiver, and a new RAK radio and the problem still exists. My drive to work is only 5 miles, and when I came out at lunch it worked, but the problem was exactly as you described it.Have you tried pulling the fuse to the satellite radio module?I had an 05 magnum with sirius that went crazy until I pulled its power for a little while.MB service does not seem to have a clue and wants me to bring it in for a diagnostic. [FONT=Arial Black][B][B]I also have a 09 C300 with the exact same problem.MB service wants me also to bring it in for a diagnostic.
For those of you who have Sirius XM, can you please tell me how many times you see the message, updating channels, on the radio/nav display.
I wonder why my Honda CRV never updates like my soul does?
It took an hour of driving on sunday before it didn't say Updating on the screen.
I did contact Sirius, and they said I shouldn't be getting that message every time.
I also get an antenna error has occurred message, this one has been an on going issue with VW.
